Recently I have been asked by a number of people to review the Ferris Wheel. The Ferris Wheel was a concept I introduced in my book ‘Fair Share’ some years ago and in the Jul/Aug 2006 issue of YTE.
The Ferris Wheel is similar to the ‘Economic Clock’, but with a Scollon flavour. There is a subjective element to it, so one has to be a little careful in interpreting where we are in the economic cycle. Economics is not a precise science, as I am sure you know.
Despite the confidence of equity investors worldwide, I still consider we are in uncertain times and such matters as where we are in the economic cycle can be just about as clear as mud.
